Do I need a team to participate?
No, you can participate as an individual or as part of a team. If you don’t have a team, we can help connect you with other participants during the event.
How are teams formed?
If you’re joining as an individual, we’ll help match you with a team during the event. If you already have a team, you can register together and work on your chosen challenge.
Are there any age restrictions for participating?
Participants must be at least 18 years old to join the event. If you’re under 18, you may need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or you can participate as part of a youth-focused initiative if offered.
What will I gain from participating in the foodathon?
You’ll have the opportunity to develop new skills, network with experts and like-minded individuals, and work on innovative solutions to global food challenges. Plus, you can win exciting prizes!
Do I need prior experience in food systems or sustainability to join?
No prior experience is required. We welcome participants of all backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, we believe everyone can contribute.
What happens after the foodathon?
After the event, the winning teams or solutions may receive further support or exposure, such as partnerships, funding opportunities, or media coverage. You will also have access to the event community for continued networking.
